Thanks for the great offer!!
Warm greetings expats and future expats! We have already met our first lovely future neighbors who are building in Los Arboles, and would love to meet more. Whether you are building in Los Arboles or relocating elsewhere in the Tulum area, we would love to meet you!
As you may or may not know, our lodge is newly opened this fall; surrounded primarily by ejido land, our location offers a true feel for life in the Mayan jungle. We enjoy sharing our experiences, and could be helpful in answering questions or giving advice on what you can expect when relocating to this fascinating area.
To our future neighbors who would like a place to call home for extended or repeated stays, we are now offering the following discounts; the first is a straight 10% off our regular nightly rates for those on short term or one-off visits. Alternatively, for those who will be making numerous or extended trips, we will offer our stay 5 nights, get a 6th free package, with additional days on a visit counting toward your next stay. For example, if a guest would stay for 7 days on the first trip, their 6th night would be free, and the 7th night would count towards another 6 on a subsequent stay.
Please feel free to contact us for any information that you might find helpful. We look forward to meeting some of you.
Cheers!

Thanks for the great offer!!
Karen and I stayed at DOL last week of Feb for a couple of days, while we were doing business in Tulum regarding our property. Suzan and Dan were great hosts and have such a wonderful place. If I had any regrets about our stay there, it was that we didn't take enough time to explore the cave and cenotes there at Dos Ojos. We justed used the Lodge as base came while we went back an forth. DOL is quite an easy trip to Tulum. I would reccomend to anyone that doesn't want to pay beach prices to stay at Dos Ojos Lodge and get to know teh owners Dan and Suzan. Your lives will be more full with their freindship and hospitality.
Since we returned from our trip we have spent most of our free time prepareing our texas house to put on the market. The house was posted late monday and yesterday had several showings. The realtor says there are offers to consider, so that is good news
Hopefullly I can slow down long enough to get my trip thoughts down and posted as well as updates on our LAT property.
Thanks again to Dan and Suzan, we really enjoyed our stay with you. We have just been to busy to even to take time to acknowledge our meeting and staying with you.

Just returned from spending 5 nights at the lodge. What a wonderful place. It is really quiet at night and all you can hear are the crickets. Dan and Suzan are the best hosts. They have a wonderful outdoor kitchen that every morning fresh coffee is brewed in the coffee machine with latte's or whatever you want. Fresh fruit and varieties of muffins made with Suzan's own hands. More for us was the multitudes of local information provided. From the local vet to the best tile store to the cheaper grocery store. We absorbed every detail. Not only have we made new friends, we truly felt at home. BTB came by for a beer. So many funny stories were shared.
So thanks Suzan and Dan you are the best.
Thanks for the kind words, April,
We really enjoyed meeting you as well; connecting with new friends makes living here truly rewarding experience!
cheers and all the best!
Suzan and Dan

We'd love to meet the infamous Margo, too; seems we are never able to make it to the fun events posted here.
Personally, I have learned to love the collectivos; never had to wait more than a few minutes for one and they pick up/drop off right at the entrance road to cenote Dos Ojos. From there we are a casual ~0.5 km walk down a quiet road.
Drop a note or PM for my cell # and we'll look out for you,
cheers!
