Wow, Gale, that's awesome, did you put that together all by your li'l lonesome? Thanks!

Missing a few, though I'm too tired to add the links right now: Uno Astrolodge, Om and Hamaca Loca, off the top of my head.

Finally, a new ticker for Tulum!!!

This is a great list for us long time Tulum lovers, and should be a huge help for all of the newbies to the area. Thanks Gale.

    Unhappy

WOW - thank all of you; that is so helpful, esp. to one who has not had the fabulous opportunity as to experience Tulum( and wondered as to the relativity of lodgings to one another.

So, in your humble opinions, who puts together the best map for a direction challenged person as myself..although by now I know - exit Cancun, jump on 307 til you get to Tulum. Yea!
But for all those explorations I've been reading about in the TR...and giving me huge anxiety attacks as to how I fit it all in, a map would come in handy.

Also - where do we stop in Playa to buy our CASES of wine? I will really try out the margs, but deep down I am french, and drink cheap red wine.

If I have misspellings in this posting, its because my coffee is taking forever to brew and I am still asleep.

    ...and off to work

    Gracias, Gracie

This is a seriously helpful list, wow. Thank you so much!!

I just had a mental picture of walking the beach, marking off each place in my head. Yup, there's Zamna, there's Tita...

Thanks. It's a chilly damp gray morning here, perfect to get away in my head.

I emailed Nueva Vida for their rate list, and hey mailed back some Adobe attachments. We have Adobe, but we couldn't download it. Could someone else try and we can post rates for everyone?

Phyllis.....thanks for your hotel links, amiga.

Who took off the stickie? This seems like a good thread to have at the top.

Or maybe we need a thread that's a stickie that has links to all the overview threads in one place -- we could take the restaurants stickie off and just have two threads that are pinned up -- one on the search feature and one with Important Links to Start From or something like that. Put a link to this thread, and the restaurants thread, the Top 10 Reasons thread, etc.

Suenos closed long before Dean..it is a land dispute and is stalled in the Mexican courts. Sad, it was such a beautiful place.

We were there just two weeks before it was forcibly closed. Now, if I had to choose my all time perfect place to vacation, it would be Suenos hands down. We can only hope it reopens some day!

    Default Extensive list of Lodging

How cool to find a website like this! I had no idea that there were so many Tulum addicts!

If anyone needs it... I have an excel spread sheet I made that has the contact info for almost all of the places along Boca Paila, emails, website, address, rate info during high season, etc.. I'd be happy to forward as an attachment to anyone looking for a place to stay in Tulum.

Hey Kelly! Welcome!!! Wow, a whole spreadsheet... that sounds great! And very organized!

Just as an FYI, you might want to edit your email address so it's written out (kellyj525 at gmail dot com). The spammers have all kinds of techie ways to scour the web for any email addresses and before you know it you could be inundated with mail you don't want!
