Smoke from burning coconut husks gets rid of mosquitoes and that is what we woke up to. Our security guard had four or five buckets smoldering around the perimeter of the restaurant. The mosquitoes were pretty bad when we got up but our hammocks had protected us during the night. We said our good-byes to the guard and were on the road again.
The scenery driving through Puerto Vallarta was nice but again there is to much traffic and to many tourists.

Once outside the tourist are we stopped and got a torta. $15 pesos.

It was high season for the Mexican tourist in Manzanillo. There was no parking near the beach so we had to walk in.

The beaches were packed. Not much room to move.
