I'm taking my mom to my favorite stylist for a new 'do, and then to brunch, how 'bout you all? Hope everyone has a special Mother's Day! http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/8/8_12_103.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZNxmk572YYUS)

Spent the day at my son and dil's, with the kids and grandkids..4 wheeling,fishing..hanging out in the sunshine. Was a great day, but I am pooped!

can you explain "hanging out in the sunshine"? I live in Seattle, and the elusive "yellow orb" has not graced us with it's presence. That usually doesn't happen until after July 4th. And of course, by then we all have forgotten what it is, it usually frightens us. It hurts our eyes and burns our skin. I am very tired of being a mole person. I want to live in Tulum!!!!!!!

It's kind of a different experience here too Lianne..this year we have escaped the torrential downpours and killer thunderstorms and their tornados. (Knock on wood..I don't want to tempt Mother Nature, so I will say "for now, we have escaped them.) I actually have tomato plants in the ground that haven't washed away..lol! I usually don't even plant anything until May 15th, just because the rainstorms and localized flooding around here are so bad in the spring.

You could not have asked for a better day...sunny and in the low 80's..with a light breeze..wish I could share it with you.
