This organization needs some assistance right now..so I thought I would post a link to their website so you can see for yourself what great work they do in Quintana Roo.

All of us have no doubt seen the perro de calles..the street dogs of Tulum..they reside in all areas of Quintana Roo. Nacer was established to both assist these animals as well as educate the locals about animal care. They provide sterilzation clinics, but that is just a small part of what they do.

Read Cane's story..it is a true testament to Nacer's care and dedication to the animals of Quintana Roo.

I should warn you though, so of the pictures and stories on the website are not for the faint of heart. It is a sad reality that many of these animals are hurt, starving, and very neglected.



If you are as touched by Nacer's work as I am..having fallen in love with one of these sad little beach doggies..please give some thought to assisting Nacer.

I agree Minnie. I saw Steve's post on LG and jumped on that. He followed up with a real nice email to me.

For those who don't know, even though NACER does there work to help the animals down in the 'Roo - they are a 501(c)(3) based in Colorado. Therefore any contribution you make is indeed tax deductible on your US taxes.

And I'm a softy for helping out shelter pups in any way I can. :D
