Dug up some old Tulum beach photos

Hey everybody.....I am new to the tulum.info forum! I first traveled with my wife to PDC for our honeymoon in July of '04. Fell in love with the area, especially Tulum. We were introduced to this special place by James on his fantastic "Tulum and Beyond" tour. We are returning in July of '07 and will be staying in Tulum for a few days. I managed to dig up a few pics of the beach from that tour. I will have many more to share from this next trip. Have never posted pics before...gulp....so here it goes..

Hello Yook,
Nice pictures...I wish I were there now, instead of in the deep freezer of Montreal. The beaches in your photos look unchanged from 2004, despite two destructive hurricanes . It makes me appreciate the tenuous beauty of the Tulum area, which so far has resisted the devouring development of places to the north. Let's hope it stays the way it is for quite a while longer.

those of you that have been on that tour.....do you know where that stretch of beach is located?

If it's the beach they go to after the ruins, I think it's pretty far south. I saw someone else's pics, and I think it might have been down towards Jade Tulum? :confused:

No...I wish...but I think when we go in July, we are going to try and stay far south and close to Siaan Kan.
