I can't wait. literally...

Still waiting for son's passport ordered it in mid december so should be any day now. Also still need to figure out rental car. Got a couple of e-mail quotes today..kind of steep at around $450 for 9 days but that's because husband wants something fun to drive like a jeep wrangler or something..I reminded him that last time we had a classic vw,which was plenty fun.

We are major foodies(that's how I found this forum and landed on adguy's awesome trip report and food photos!) so I plan to take photos of everything we eat..

Hola,

Chris and I will head down for our annual anniversary trip May 19th and return to the real world on May 27th (late).

I've got my reservation in for Tita's #5 cabana. And last weekend I bought our air tix. It's a done deal.

Joellybaby we'll be down in Tulum around the same time. Perhaps our paths will cross. It is our second time to Tulum, so we've "been there, done that" once already.

You guys are making me feel good. I was soooo depressed when all I had to look forward to was that tomorrow I finally get to "double digits" :D .

Don't worry - all the time you'll spend here on the boards will make your ticker shrink in no time. :confused: Oh - so that sounds kinda bad. :eek: Um, it'll make the time fly by - that's it. :cool:

I need to get a different countdown clock...I want to be tortured with triple digits. :eek: But the joy of double and single digits will make the torture worthwhile! I have a playa.info countdown on the playa board that is old and shows "arrived" but I can't for the life of me remember how I got it and when I click on it or anyone else's it just brings up the playa board. So what do I need to do????

Staying 2 weeks in Playa but coming to Tulum in the middle of it for a couple of days. Will be in Tulum Feb. 27,28. Staying in town.

At this late date most the beach hotels are booked and have 3 night min. We found a room at the Posada luna del sur. 2 night min.

The last few days I've been hitting the tanning bed so I don't need sunscreen or have to deal with a getting a sunburn while there.

Bought me some fins, a mask and snorkel today as well.

Unfortunately, am staying up in Akumal - at ABR - I know, a far cry from Tulum, but we are taking our 4 & 2 year old grandchildren, son & DIL & just thought there would be more to occupy them there, quick food fixes, naps, the whole nine yards - we are in the process of planning another trip to Tulum, hopefully in October - We do plan to take a couple of day trips down to Tulum though - see how it goes with the kids -
