I know that you can rent cars at the airport, but if I need to can I rent one in Tulum? If so, where? Thanks!

There is an Executive Car Rental in Tulum Pueblo, and Buster also has an office in town. On the beach road, you can arrange auto rental at Ana Y Jose's and also at Cabanas Tulum..one is Alamo I think. There are probably others that I don't know about.

Executive's office is just north of the Ruins on 307. Buster, I believe is about midway from Coba Rd to the traffic circle, on the eastside of the highway. There is also an Alamo in town, next to La Nave.

There are a few of car rental agencies in Tulum Pueblo, including Buster. also a Executive rental in Tulum near the road to the ruins.. I believe next to the bus station there was a car rental. Ana y Jose on the beach road also have rental cars if you are needing one for a day or two for some sightseeing. It appeared they had 5-6 cars there for rent. Not sure of the rates but I would think one could get a better deal in town. Check out Ana y Jose web site they have a section there on their rentals rates and can make your reservation there as well.

Whichever car rental option you select (my pick would be Buster), I'd know what the 'going Internet rate' was before strolling up to their office. Nine times out of 10 the Internet rate will be better and you can use that as ammunition to get a better price.
