so since our travel buds have already left we thought we would start our trip report a little early just as they did, but we are still stuck in the snow while they are AWOL in PDC...here is what is happening T-Minus 12 days and counting....

WOW. That's a LOT of snow. Hope you can find a way out soon!! :D

We had 60, YES, 60 inches of snow dumped on us in January. Not much of it has had a chance to melt either. I feel like I live in an igloo these days. And yesterday, the 1+inches of ice that coated everything makes me feel like I will never see the grass in our yard or leaves on the trees. Thank GOD for the airplane ticket that tells me I'll be flying to 80 degree weather just one week from this moment.

Good luck with your digging, GH and MH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stop for a margarita now and then, it helps. :)

MakinHay plowed his little heart out. The drift in our drive was almost 6' tall at its deepest point. MakinHay's truck got snowed, litterally the engine compartment was packed full of snow from sitting outside in the storm. took and hour to unthaw in the heated barn. He plowed all the neighbors out (12 or so of them) and our two main farms. Today it is bright and sunny and he is still moving snow, yesterday was to get everyone out, today is to move it so you can see around the 15' high piles. Thankgoodness our local pub ordered us a bottle of Centenario, tonight I will be much warmer. But in 9 more I will be down right HOT!

Done?? I was hoping GH could even start it before we left! Been up since 3 am finishing up reports for work. Now can start packing and putting the house in order before we head off to Toronto in a few hours....time is runnning short GH!:cool:

No pressure... I kinda feel like I owe an apology to Grasshopper for harrassing her...all in fun of course! Life Happens....work, family, home, etc. You will notice I have not exactly lived up to my signature line either! (I was a terrible procrastinator....so I adopted my Grandfather's regimental motto to help me be somewhat less so!)
