My husband, youngest daughter and I spent New Years at our cabin in the mountains of North Central Washington state, it was awesome. We have over 2 feet of snow there, and believe it or not, we love snow! Living in Seattle, we only get rained on, rarely, an inch or 2 of WET snow, and it usually leaves quickly, so trudging through snow up to our hips to get to our front door was actually a lot of fun...............except we almost lost the dog, and she had issues regarding her bathroom arangements till we dug out!!!! All in all, a beautiful, peaceful way to begin the new year, but..........Tulum calls, March 1 is getting ever so much closer now................HURRAY!! Best wishes to all my new friends, Lianne
