Quick Surprise Trip in December

Thought we could all use a few pics this cold January Day.... so here is our trip report but in pictures.... This trip was kind of a surprise from my hubby Makinhay, the farm did good this year and I had a very trying year so he said lets go. Dan and Ron (and the fabulous Cammie) were all going to be at Xamach Dos getting ready for high season so we booked and away we went. Only sad thing is we left our travel mates home in Canada, they couldnt go this trip.

The beach road was the worst we have ever seen it. the one hour trek to Xamach Dos was 2 and a half hours!!!

We love Villas Geminis just off 307 one block, and three blocks from the San Francisco. Katherine, Hernan and Emma are fabulous and Ceasar their caretaker just as wonderful! Oh cant forget Coco the lab, Mishka the Cat and Oliva the Chihuahua

cetainly didnt feel like Christmas to us as there was NO SNOW!

But it sure was Christmas like at home. Came home to 5 above temperature and had a 10 below windchill. When we left I forgot to grab my winter coat so was a very cold first half hour in the diesel jetta before it got warm.
Just didnt feel like taking a picture of the snow covered car...but you get the ending - crappy to be home. But what a great trip!

Bless you Grasshopper... it was 16 degrees out in chilly CT this am and my toes are STILL cold... but the rest of me is nice and warm after your gorgeous pics! Thinking nothing could be better than an unexpected surprise trip to XD............ AWESOME! I never get tired of seeing the relaxed suntanned faces. :)

We like Om so went there our first day and the next day we went to Ziggy's, like it there too. Both places we pretty much had to ourselves.

Xamach Dos is the best place in the world (I might be a little partial) The road is much better now, I would encourage some of you Hotel zone people to come down and check us out. No other hotels for 10 miles on either side of us.
The big Tournament is Feb 14th, it's a lot of fun...
I get back Feb 1, and will manage the place until June..can't wait to get out of this @#&@ Seattle weather!

It is and once you go...She gets into your soul and holds you captive. She is now and forever a piece of my life that I carry every where. Her family is my family. Her beauty is indescribable and .... well you get the idea. We are pretty partial to her as well as Dan, Rhonda, Ron, Cami, Francisca, Venenzio and of course MEOW MEOW. (liked Ronnie the new guy too!)
The four of us always end up becoming friends with the other guests, well except this one time when....awww never mind. =-)

Thanks everyone...yes we did have lots of fun. Even the varnishing was a nice distraction. Not often you get to help make a place SHINE! Plust needed to work of some of my tab, you have no idea how many beers it takes to varnish half of a floor that size.

Oh and SM2 you are correct, there was just one little thing missing from our trip ~ YOU and JULES ~ but it wont be long and we will be enjoying it all together my second husband!
