:) Is there anywhere to camp close to the beach at Tulum? We have a camper, but need a bathroom and possibly power?? Can run on solar, though. Thanks

Paulette

We have a cabover popup truck camper. We don't need as much space as an RV-- but a little more than a tent.

I saw a trip report not long ago about Camping Oasis. The people had a camper that sounds very similar to yours. I have heard that the bathrooms are not the best here though.

You can camp at Mar Caribe beach. They don't have power but do have 3 washrooms with showers. Cost is between $3 and $6 a night.

Paamul has many sites for rental with hookups. Many people live there year round in trailers, many snowbirds stay all winter. It's much further North though, on the way to Playa. Has a beautiful beach and a great community, pool and restaurant. I'd recommend it in a second.
