Hey Gang,

Okay, a very unusual question (what else would you expect from me? :p ). I've heard rumor of a Mexican prison near Valladolid. Not looking to see the inside of the place or hang with the locals, but I believe the inmates make hammocks that are for sale (kinda like making license plates here in the states). The hammocks are supposedly very nice and they are a great deal...afterall, the place is in a remote area and the labor is free. ;)

Anybody been there, know how to get there, ever bought anything, or read anything about this place?

Yes, it's on the road to Valladolid. You can't miss it, it will be on the left hand side. They sell THE best quality hammocks you will ever buy in the area. Double woven, great colours, great fibers. The hammocks are around $60 US, so not exactly cheap, but well worth what you pay! The hammocks are all out for display on the roadside.

The profits from the hammocks supposedly goes to the guy who made it, so he can feed himself, etc. while in prison.
