More great pics minniemex. We will deinitely go "beyond the arch" next May, as we just walked the beach our past trip. I enjoy the peace of the "Playa Natural", even with all the 'stuff' that washed up. We just clean off a spot and plop our blanket down.

Okay...can't believe I actually know something here, since I haven't been to Tulum yet. I think picture 76 on page 4 "the unknow kite school" is Exteme Control. It is located by La Vita e Bella. My hubby is a kiteboard addict and is planning on taking some courses with them when we are there.

Just wanted to say "Nice Photos." You have a photo similar to mine. The only difference is that it was taken during hurricane Ivan. Most of the people had evacuated already but we stayed for a while. Finally decided it was time to leave when a wave broke open our cabana door. I came back on another road trip a few months later and Carlos gave me a free room.

It is amazing what force a hurricane has !! We were on Isla Mujeres when Wilma was coming - they evacuated us to Cancun - tried to get a plane out - that didn't happen, so we spent a week in Cancun with Wilma:eek:
