Fantastic shots...it looks like you really saw some great sealife! Did you go out with a guide or did you just wade in and start swimming? We saw some great fish and beautiful coral (unfortunately becoming a rarity any more :( ) but never caught a glimpse of a turtle. We even had a map detailing where they'd be in Half Moon Bay...I guess someone forgot to tell the tortugas! :D
Also, did you use a 'professional' underwater camera or just one of the disposable type? You're pictures are very good!

Lee - We were snorkeling in Akumal Bay - by Lol Ha Restaurant - not Half Moon Bay - we found we really like Akumal Bay because you always see turtles & the school of fish -
We bought a Sony DSC W50, along with a waterproof camera housing - we leave it in there the whole vacation - that way no sand or water damage or fears of anything. On the snorkeling pictures, I have a program the "fixes" the color in the pictures - takes the murkiness out of the underwater shots - cannot remember the name of it & I am at work (NOT working) - ;)

Great idea for protecting your camera. I always cringe when I have to drop my Fuji S5100 in the sand. I may try to pick a camera housing up before heading down there. Due to my work, I have access to alot of photo enhancement software and am a big believer in having the computer 'help' my poor photography skills. You probably would never have guessed I'm actually a 73-year old, Asian female, would you? :D
