Going to Tulum on Jan 10 for 3 nights, and have not nailed down a place to stay. If you know anything about these 4 place please let me know, good or bad. Tita Tulum, Hamaca Loca, Luna Maya, and Ana y Joses. I know nothing about Hamaca Loca or Luna Maya. I Know some stuff about the other two but any input would be helpful. Thanks

Tita Tulum gets great reviews and is more affordable than Ana y Joses. Your time period is during high season and can be very popular...have you checked availability/pricing with these four places? You may find some are ruled out as they won't have a spot for you. :( Also, listing the factors of what makes a good or bad place might be helpful in providing recommendations.

AdGuy,
Thanks for the reply. All 4 have availability for the dates I need.
Hamaca Loca is $345. Luna Maya is $450. Tita Tulum is $450. Ana y Jose is $588. I know very little about Hamaca Loca There web page looks nice but I am not sure how close to the beach they are, and if the beach is rocky, or even where they are located? hamacaloca.com
The same is for Luna Maya. This place looks great but the one picture looks like the beach is very rocky. lunamaya-tulum.com
I have to make my decision soon. I emailed them and it takes a few days before I ever get a response. At luna maya I can make my resorvation on their web page, but it wants me to give my credit card info, but it looks like the web page is not secure (you know that little lock on the bottom of the page that is telling you that it is a secure page.) Thanks for any help.

I believe Hamacaloca is south of Tita Tulum & before Sian Ka'an - I can tell you that the beach is absolutely gorgeous at Ana Y JOses, TitaTulum & Hamacaloca - I don't know about Luna Maya - Tita Tulum would be my choice right now - I had stayed at Cabanas Tulum -

My vote would be Tita also. If you want serene, beautiful beach, quiet, clean, not big, 24 hr elec., great staff on site ,restaraunt that was good, try Tita Tulum. Cabana #1 was great.
