Details, please, regarding your Spain trip? We did a three week drive through Spain last summer. Glorious Trip!

We have very good friends in England who we travel with quite a lot. They were the ones we traveled to the Maldives with. They rented a Villa in Spain (Plaja d'Aro) which is north of Barcelona just off the Med and they called and invited us to join them. We couldn't pass it up!! I am so excited for this trip!! Did you hit the Barcelona area when you were there??


On the other hand, I am also bumming as that means we won't be getting a trip to Tulum this year. Maybe in January??:crossfingers:

Yes and Yes! We did 3 days in Barcelona, stayed on Las Ramblas...what a wonderful, dynamic city with great food, terrific drinks and spectacular sights (anything Gaudi!)

We also did not do a Tulum trip this year, however, 2009 ain't quite over yet! Still keeping fingers crossed that we can do it!

Barcelona is really terrific. Agree with Kat's comments, and would add- great shopping and markets. Hope you get there Minnie (if you haven't been already ;).)

YES! The shopping is to die for...we hit 3 Zara's while we were there, and the Mercado off the Ramblas has great deals on Spanish olive oil! It's so different from Italian! Really robust flavor and so tasty to dip bread into! (mouth watering!)
