Are there collectivos or a Bus that goes Tulum town to Coba? If not how much is a taxi?

Thanks

I don't think there's a collectivo, but I think there is a bus.

I feel like SteveO mentioned something in his report though. I'll see if I can find it.

Whoops, I was wrong. Well, I was both right and wrong. It was in Steve O's report-- and a collectivo does apparently go that way.

It's in Part 12 of the report (here on the main page). He was hanging out with the cab drivers waiting at the San Francisco.

I stayed outside and went over to talk to the cab drivers. Found out that you can catch a colectivo from this taxis stand to Coba for $60 pesos.

The second class runs bus from Tulum to Coba. (Can't remember if it is Mayab or Oriente, but they will tell you at the window). That's what I took. It has been awhile now since I made that trip, so check at the bus station.

Bus lets you off in 'downtown' Coba and it's a short walk to the lake and the ruins. Get bus schedule from the guy at the desk in Coba so you know when to be back for the return ride.
