My husband and I are looking into the possibility of moving to Tulum for a couple of years. We have a 21 month old and are concerned that our daughter will be isolated and not have a community of other children and families. I am interested to find out if there are good preschools and a community of families living there from other countries. We will also want to immerse her as much as possible in the local community...
I am also curious about access to medical care either in Tulum or closeby, both for our daughter and potentially prenatal.

We have some friends who live in tulum and they are really pleased with the local schools. We also just met a couple from England who just relocated to tulum and they are sending their young children to a private school in puerto Adventuras and have been real happy with it thus far.

Do you know anything about secondary education in tulum? Dissillusioned with london and schools here, thinking that my 14 year old son could have different education out of this urban ebnvironment for a while... any thoughts greatly appreciated as he's goiing to take some persuading. Thanks

Thanks! Do you by chance know the name of the school in puerto adventuras? Any idea if the local schools you mentioned in Tulum are elementary or older? The info is extremely helpful, thanks again!

[Sorry, i don't know the names of the schools at all. Again, I know a couple of people who have their little ones in schools in tulum and puerto adventerous. One of our friends also sends their 15 year old son to a school in Merida, he lives with a family there.
Beyond that i really don't have any specifics. Perhaps, i can get the specific names of the schools if you need them
