Weather in march

Hey everyone.

I am going to be staying at the cabanas tulum from march 17-27.

I just checked the weather forecast and accoding to weather.com it will be raining for most of my stay there. i dont mind a little rain here and there but the forecast made it seem that it was going to be cloudy and rainy for 7 days straight. Is this just the normal weather in tulum at the time or should i just ignore it. Is anyone in tulum right now and can attest to tis forecast

Tulum = tropics. It is incredibly unreliable to forecast weather there. Someone did just report in on another thread (lazydog) and mentioned that the weather wasn't great. But it can change in an instant, and weather in Tulum on the beach can be different altogether from weather in the pueblo, weather further inland, weather in Akumal.

It's just not something you can worry about. Throw a pack of cards in your bag, or some other games, bring some books. Then forget about it and hope for the best. You'll love Tulum, rain or no rain.

I just looked at Wunderground.com and yes it says rain, but only 20% most days and only 40% on one. It always says that for Mexico ~ we have learned that unless there is a tropical storm your weather is usually great!! No worries for you!! Go and enjoy!!

Do as Phyllis said, read, play a game, play cards, etc. If it rains go someplace else. I have been in Tulum and it is raining and have gone only as far as Akumal and the sun is shining.

I can currently attest that the weather report can be wrong! Our forecast was for rainy days for first seven days. Wrong! We have had one rainy day and the rest have been gorgeous!!!! On that rainy day we went to playa. It is incredible down here. Sorry got to go, the waves and that cerveza is calling my name!!!
