Avatar Secret?

At the risk of asking a dumb question...how do I set up an avatar on this board? I'm unable to adjust the avatar control in the User CP section. Is it tied to a certain level (based on number of posts or time as a member) or do I have to get permission from Ginger or James?

As I try to recall, the settings you have to keep in under (which I read somewhere under userCP settings) are not correct? I wrestled with this quite a bit, and then Ginger (or was it James) gave me a hand with it.

Keep trying different sizes and uploading. Eventually it can work. Or Ginger can work magic for you.

Thanks for the info. I'm not sure it's a "size limit" problem as I'm not even given the option to upload anything. When going under the Avatar area in the User CP section it offers a click button but I can't unclick it. Perhaps Ginger or James can PM me (or even better post a response in this thread so others can learn).

I've never tried it until just now............ and i am experiencing the same scenario. The use no avatar button wont let me change it :( . I would probably venture to think that there will be no changes or upgrades to this site until it is combined into the main PDC forum. This will happen when one Mexican minute is made available.:D
