Hello all,

I wanted to share some photos from my 5 weeks last year in Tulum. I went with an organization called Global Vision International, stayed at their Base Camp (on Calle Coba Sur, near Hotel Teetotum) and helped teach English classes at the Casa de la Cultura.

I'm finally getting my photos organized and also figuring out how to use Flickr.com - highly recommended, much better than Picasa or anything else I've tried. I like these "slide shows" they offer, so here's one.

I know what you mean, Patty! TI is kind of a safe place for we crazy Tuluumies, I think it saves us from boring our uninterested real-life friends all the time!

Wow, great photos, Patty! How did you enjoy your time with Global Vision? I've heard of them before and have thought about trying to do that after I finish grad school and before I start job hunting in earnest. Would you recommend it?
