Thank you all for being such an excelent source of information. It's so good to be able to just ask someone when I have a question.

This will be my first visit to Tulum and my consort and I would like to attend mass at the local church. Does anyone know the worship schedule of the catholic church in Tulum pueblo? Mass in Latin or Spanish is fine.
We were directed to ask at our resort when we get there, but as I am booking tours in advance and want to avoid a conflict with service times I'd like to know before it's too late to plan. Church on Sunday may be the standard in the USA but I have found it varies abroad. So; any body know when services are held in Tulum Pueblo?

But i'm guessing sunday is a day for mass there. The one church I know of and visited was across the street from the soccer fields/playgrounds/little town square just a block off the main strip next. There is a bank right on the main strip next to the soccer fields as well(where they paly a lot of soccer was more of a big dirt lot)... If you're in town on any given day I imagine they the info you seek posted.

There is also a less-formal church in Paamul, but that is a good deal north of Tulum. The service is open-air, overlooking the Caribbean. You can read more about it by clicking here (http://www.church-in-playa.com/)
