I think, if we ever get around to having an official TI get-together, someone should do a write-up for their local paper. Then it'll show up on Newsbot, and we'll come full circle!

Our local paper has a regular feature where they publish pictures of subscribers holding a copy of that local paper while on vacation. The wife wouldn't let me send in the one I took on the clothing optional beach...although the paper was more than adequate in covering the important issues....

Gotta love our small towns...

I bet the folks at the newspaper would have gotten a big kick out that! :D


Actually, the not-so-small town newspaper The Columbus Dispatch had that same thing. They had some great pictures of people all over the world. It's a neat idea, maybe I'll suggest it to our local paper.
