Just came back last week from my (first) trip to Tulum. I wasn't very active on this forum, but I did ask a couple of questions and used it a lot as a resource.

I'd love to hear more about what it was like staying in the $30 cabana at Copal since so many people ask about inexpensive options on the beach. Where did you stay at Luna Maya? Do they also have sand-floor cabanas?

Did you feel safe, did you feel clean, how far was the bathroom? Any information you can share will help us advise other travelers like you.

Jesse- great pics- This is my favorite! Looks like a painting. I also love the picture with the dragon fruit. I always look for it when I've been there, but not hitting the right season I guess.

TERRIFIC PIX! The sunsets are awesome....what time of year did you make this trip? I've never seen the sky so vivid there! Is it a seasonal thing or photo-tweaking? Gorgeous, any which way!
