Favorite hotels in Tulum?

Anyone have any suggestions for their favorite beach hotel in Tulum? (I can see Azulik is one) Am considering Casa Buena Suerte based on recommendation of forum member. Any others I should consider?

It really depends on what expectations you have. Camping w/ sand floor, a step above camping concrete floor, all the way to semi luxury. The Mezzanine as far as I am concerned is very nice. Ana y Jose's is also a very nice place, spa nice pool, car rental, good food, great location on the best beach. Copal is ok. We stayed there last month for a few days. I would'nt stay there again only because there are so many more places. Tierras Del Sol we stayed there 4 days and will go back there as soon as possable, Carlos and family were great hosts, excellent beach, nice rooms. Posada Margarita also is a very nice place to stay good resturant too. Search Tulum Cabanas you will find some good info. on the web. Hope this helps, but all in all you cant go wrong with any on the area, you will enjoy yourself where ever you stay. Dave

Try Tita Tulum, Nueva Vida, Posada Margherita, they are on the southern portion of the beaches and the beach goes on for ever from these locations. Any resorts from Zamas and North have nice beaches but they are restricted in size, south of Zamas you can walk the beach southward further than you can make it.

There are hotlinks in most of the hotels that take you right to the web site of the hotel itself. The map on the right gets bigger if you click on it- and you can see the relative position of the hotels. This helps if you already know a bit about the area- ie which area has the calmest nicest beach, but do not know the details of the individual hotel. Hope this helps!
