Any info on weddings in tulum? Anyone out there had experience with having a wedding there or near there or anyone in the process? Any info appreciated. Rachel

I have recently begun resarching wedding information in the area myself. Although for me it is with the intent to move to the Yucatan and make a career out of it. The most information I have found was by googling "Cancun Weddings". It seems that most of the wedding industry for the area is centered in Cancun. If you need a photographer let me know lol.

also check out http://www.locogringo.com/research/weddings.html some info there too.

I imagine you can have a wedding planner help you out. I'd check the playa.info forum. I looked into having mine at the ruins, but looked to be a no go. Would have been nice. We plan on getting married in playa now.

I know some of the hotels do weddings, including some neat Mayan ceremonies with shaman.

Ana Y Jose does weddings (http://www.anayjose.com/wedding-package.htm)

Azulik has a shaman ceremony (http://www.azulik.com/reservations/ceremonialHoneymoon.html) but you need to do the actual legal stuff at home first

Raquel is a wonderful wedding planner based out of Playa, if you email her she can give you lots of great info and organize anything you need. You can visit her website if you click here (http://www.weddingsinplayadelcarmen.com)
