horses?

I am planning a trip to Tulum for the first time this summer. Are horseback riding or ATV tours available as they are in the hotel zone? How would I get there from Freedom Paradise? Thanks!:)

I dont know of any Horse rental or tour places in Tulum. There is one off of 307 somewhere North. Maybe in the Sian Kaan somewhere also?? I have never seen a horse on any of the Tulum beaches, but that doesnt mean much. You cant miss the horse places as you are driving down 307 so just take note when you see one and a cab will get you there.

I did not see any horse rental places in Tulum. However north of purto Aventuras near Xaac Beach. This is still north of Tulum about 12-15 miles. ATV tours are avalable anywhere in PDC through ATV explorer they are about 5 miles south of PDC on the beach side of 307. There is another Horse riding spot around Purto Morales right off of 307 this is about 15-18 miles north of PDC. You will pass both of these places on your way from Cancun airport south.
