Will be in Tulum for five nights sept. Staying Posada Luna Del Sur. Was wondering if any of you knowledgeable folks had any insight on place.

All i know of that place is that it is in town. Several good and cheaper eats nearby.

Hi :) We actually stayed there and can tell you we do know a good thing when we see it. be aware it's not by the beach, it is not a yoga ying-yang place, it is not the cabana joint, it does not have the spa thing and its prices are not inflated by the ego and poor service of some of the managers we've met in past. It is, however, impeccable, friendly and safe. The owner gives you tips that even some of the locals envy. It is the best value in Tulum, and by far the cleanest hotel we ever stayed at in all of Mexico. It is a few minutes drive to some of the most beautiful beaches we've seen, and also a quick walk to some very good eateries and local markets. You've made a great choice. The place is a gem.
