tulum accommidation advice

Hi folks.

Heading to Tulum for 10 days in February, and we're looking for a real nice spot to stay - 2 couples, and we're looking for clean and confortable, not super-luxurious, but not bottom of the budget either.

We just want somewhere that is private, and on the beach.

I would suggest these as they seem to be the more upscale Tulum beach accomadations. Posada Margherita, Las Ranitas,Ana y Joses, Los Lirios,Zamas,Suenos De Tulum,Piedra Escondido.

We stayed at Los Lirios in May, 2003, and enjoyed it a lot. You'll want to explore other restaurants in the area--eating all the time at the same place would not be fun, but the room was large, clean, comfortable and wonderful. The beach was great. It was all good.
