Hi. We've booked. My family and I will stay at Copal from June 16 to 23. I've been twice there, one in Dec and one in May. I understand guests nationality mix varies from month to month, and this is an important fact to determine the "ambiance" there. Would you inform me what is the typical "mix" in the middles of June?
Thanks a lot.
Gabriel

Count me in as an American that will be there for a few nights towards the end of June.

You should really enjoy Tita Tulum we were their in April, room #4 the upper unit next to the restaurant, great people, spotless rooms, restaurant was excellent also. Say Hi to Tita! We are returning in August.

Not sure about nationality but I live in California and am a white boy with a tan and no white spots and my Honey is darker more time in the sun. But what I think your looking for is, I have talked to people from France, Germany and the Netherlands in Tulum and from all over the USA seems to be an international kind of place. Dave

I'll explain the reason of my question:
You know Copal is a clothing optional facility; my family and I would like spend most of time nude, but they will be more comfortable in a nudist environment than in a textile one. I understand Europeans and Canadians tend to be more inclined to nudism than US or Mexico citizens. That's why I'm asking. On the other hand, we like to chat with all people, independently ot their citizenship, religion, skin color or age.
Thanks
Gabriel

We like to spend our vacation nude as well and have visited nudist facilities around the area, we really love the nude beach at Lake Tahoe 2 hr drive. Copal does advertise C/O, and we have been around the grounds nude, but at times there seems to be a few to many textiles. You are right about some americans, but that goes the same for anybody, but since they advertise it some people should not be offened by it.
We do what feels comfortably for us. My husband may be the first to shed the clothes at arrival I take a few min. more, but if we are the first others are quick to join in or if they like pack it in. We say just do it, often you may set the trend on a beach. :p My husband says clothes free when convient, clothes when appropiate. Amy

I understand your concern. However most people going to Copal understand well that nudity is common. We have been there with no people nude, and only a few topless ladies, to almost everyone being nude, even the americans. Even when there are few other nudes we never have seen any problem, and you should not hesitate to bare it all. In april there were families with young children- sometimes clothed, sometimes nude, and neither the adults nor the kids cared. Your activities as a family may help some others lose their inhibitions. Enjoy it!
