Well, I haven't had a cigarette in a week, but my internet has been down since Friday....I'm not sure which is worse! So those of you who have voiced concern about my whereabouts........I'm home and all is well...Lots of visits by Tulum.infoers to report when I get more time!!!!!!!! Missed you all!:)

Never got into smoking myself - kinda ruins the marathon attempts.

Just sit on the beach and breath in the fresh sea air - I'll bet your lungs love that all the more!!! :)

Good luck.....I thought about giving up ALL beverages that had any percent of alcohol in them..but I think i should wait unitl AFTER my Tulum trip. lol :)

Congrats Margo..hang in there..you are an inspiration. I always said it would be awesome to take a trip to Tulum for the sole purpose of becoming a non smoker..but I would probably just switch my addiction to something else..mas tequila..mas food..lol...perhaps I will give that a try in November!;)

thanks for the support everyone...I think I'm on like day 8 or 9 now...it isn't being that hard......and I'm surrounded by smokers it seems...I've even had a tequila shot or two and haven't lit up!:eat-drink:

I was talking to a Mexican friend of mine, Manuel (not my neighbor but a guide in Punta Allen) who told me he just made up his mind that he was done..........and he was....so I pondered this for a week or so, and decided it was good advise. I've always been embarressed by smoking, so have been pretty much a closet smoker, it's weird to have it out like this! Again, thanks!!!!:wave:
