OK, here it goes.

Yesterday, a friend told me about a trip in which another friend of hers went to Tulum and stayed at an all-inclusive resort in which she could see the ruins of Tulum from the beach. Unfourtunately, she didn't get the name of the resort. Does anyone here know of an all-inclusive backing up against a beach with a view of the Tulum ruin? I'd like to look up it's web-page for some trip planning of my own.
Sincerely,
anGela

The only one i know that may be close enought to the ruins would be Sunscape Tulum. It is North of the ruin site.

Sunscape is now Dreams Tulum. It is just to the north of the ruins a km or two, and I have heard you can see the ruins from the resort. Dreams resorts took over in mid Dec. 2005

Sadly-- YOU CANNOT SEE THE RUINS from the beach at Dreams--although I did see some ads that implied that you could. YOU CAN'T.

Never been to an Ai, but there there are plenty of cabana spots where you can see the ruins from the beach.
