I just have to say Thanks..this is a Great forum..lots of good, friendly information., which might lack in other forums..This is: just plain and honest stories of the experiences of Tulum and places south or north. No disssing,no feathers getting ruffled or puffed up.
Thanks for a great forum regarding a place we all love to get away to which involves leaving all the "stuff" of our daily routine. You get to Tulum and you just exhale...you take it all in, and realize how great life is, and are thankful for all of your hard work that got you to PARADISE: and the important thing is: You are having a good time, in one of the most spectacular places on earth, and meeting great people, making friendships, perhaps for a very long time and eating GREAT, healthy food....and as far as drinking good, healthy beverages: I would say that some would NOT put
GREAT tequila.;) on the list of HEALTHY...;) But it seems to be one that makes our experience in Tulum even BETTER....:beerchug: Cheers to white sandy beaches, great views, good people and a beautiful sea to enjoy!

My thoughts exactly. I've learned loads from people on this forum. The best for me is, a lot of it is stuff I'd never learn by reading a travel book.

While we are all being mushy....Margo: Penny is grateful for the opportunity to have bragging rights as an "international hairstylist". Her clients love the photos of our trip especially your cut under the palms on the beach. We will post with our report. Thanks again for the plug!! Thanks again everyone for making this a happy place to be, second only to the real thing!!

We are all into this together: having a forum that gives you honest opinions, learning from each others good and bad experiences, and perhaps, being able to meet the cyber connections along the way.
We all, most of us..:) work hard to spend a week or more in paradise..
and even if you had bad service somewhere, or the food wasn't good:
LOOK!!! How can a beautiful beach and clear, beautiful blue water..really make such things ruin your trip??? I am all about :you get back what you give...respect..kindness, etc. Don't want to get toooo mushy....I just want it to be OCTOBER..so i can de-compress from winter, and bad roads and early mornings, late days, and people complaining: "There is just TOO much snow!!!" Or the snow is TOO hard...OR???? I will never complain while in Tulum that there is too much beach, or the sand isn't SOFT enough or there is too much sun or I don't have Ice or lights or noise:) ..SO HOW MANY DAYS IS IT UNTIL OCTOBER 25???

I want to say thanks to all of you who I borrow from like LEE and FRAN and GALE and...! If I ever make a post over on LG and I need a picture I know exactly where to come. I haven't been as many times as the long timers but I still like to share my bits of knowledge and much of it I have learned right here.

Nicely said!
Good to see that you survived the winter. I bet Big Cottonwood was nuts:eek: Skiing was off the hook! I'm looking at a couple inches this morning, May 1st. Tulum was great hope you make it soon.
