I posted a trip report of our Tulum/Playa trip on the Playa board. I can't post it here because James needs to fix the image limit, I have too many.

The first four days are of Tulum, with lots of photos of the places people had been asking about. You can read the report if you click here (http://www.playa.info/playa-del-carmen-forum/21213-incriminating-photos-stories.html).

I use a digital SLR...a Canon EOS 20D. I have a few different lenses that I use as well.

Thanks for the compliments!

Wow.... that was an awesome trip report. It was really cool to see some pictures of the places I plan on going to on my trip in June. DO you have any other photos of your trip into the Sian Kaan? I want to head down that way to hopefully find a deserted beach to hang out on for a while like you did. Were there places to pull off the road to park the rental car? Looks fantastic there from your photos.

On the right side is a lagoon, the water there is also so beautiful.

after a long drive you reach a point with a bridge. the rest of the drive I think it is actually an island.

There are lots of secluded beachs to enjoy but the drive down is an adventure also.

Sometimes the road narrows a bit.

Sometimes you get potholes.

c943,

It's a small world. I've been to Punta Allen many times and don't remember the dates anymore. It's the same spot. I do remember there were a couple of people checking out the pothole. I believe one of them stuck a stick in it to see how deep it was.

Yes, we rented from Busters. Overall it was an okay experience, except one minor hiccup. They couldn't find our hotel to pick the car up, and we didn't call them until the next day about why they didn't pick it up, so they charged us an extra day for the car. We were'nt impressed, but not TOO pissed either...we were on vacation, after all. ;)

Buster's includes insurance in their rates. NO extra insurance needs to be purchased
