I will be visiting Tulum for 1 day only in March. It will be a day trip. I need to know where to eat lunch and hang out on a great beach. Zamas, Posada Margarita or La Vita Bella. Food, atmosphere and beach are all inportant.....as well as ice cold beer.

I know it isn't on your shortlist, but Nacho's, close to La Vita E Bella is great..wonderful food, good prices for the beach and the view is excellent..I don't think you can beat Nacho's. I believe the chef from the old Gringo Dave's is here now.

Ana y José is a very good recommendation I think from your list the best one is Zamas
and for a great beach I like Paradise beach a lot very big with a swing bar and good food.
Enjoy!:)

Ana and Zamas...both are perfect. My nod goes to Zamas for the food and to ana for the location...get out on the deck. But it is just lunch not dinner...so either will give you the warm fuzzies.

My husband and I thought this was the best trip of beach in Tulum, and really good food! The beach there is really wide and not rocky. It makes for great swimming and playing in the waves. The Mojitos at La Vita e Bella are awesome as well as the Pina Coladas!;)
