Thonging in Tulum

Good morning all. My first post. My husband and I have vacationed on the beachs of Tulum 3 times now and just love it. Miles of open beach and the beautiful water to enjoy during our daily walks, can not be matched any where. We both enjoy wearing minimal swimwear (bikinis / thongs) and this beach is the BEST. We enjoy the Los Lirios resort and the great food at Ana y Joses. We just love it. :) And will be back soon. Jenny

Jenny,Glad to see you enjoy Tulum, my wife and I love it there and go every March or April, this year we arrive April 18th, we have stayed at Ana Y Jose twice, Cabanas Tulum, Posada Margherita and again this year at Nueva Vida for our third stay here. My wife loves the beaches and freedom of this area, she is a very big topfree supporter and we walk the beach for hours a day and she does so in only her thong, we have seen numerous people walk topless never really nude, just lying out nude. It is funny at times we walk pass women with little bikini tops on and as we pass them and they see my wife topless they remove there tops after they pass or the next day we see them walking topless, it is a great area peaceful and relaxing and so far no one oggling or apearing to pass judgement on others freedoms. Its funny though Ana Y Jose has grown tremendously since we stayed there and appears to have a much more conservative clientele, this is the only spot that seems to perk up and seem surprised as we walk by. They usually know when my wife is approaching by the many different color cowboy hats she wears thruout our stay in Tulum. The locals in pueblo call her hat lady.

Petecat. Happy to hear that you two enjoy this lovely beach an much as we do. Maybe we'll see your wife's hat next visit. Now Pete, do you thong? Once I got my husband in a thong (and that took a little doing on my part:D ) that's all he wears and I love it. Happy thonging:o .

Hi Jenny, no actually while lying on the beach I do not wear anything, but while walking, which we do quite a bit of I wear swim trunks. We are heading down April; 18th, we are booked in Nueva Vida but I may have to change that, we were supposed to go back on Nov 10th but due to the hurricane we had to postpone things, Nueva Vida switched us to April but now they want an additional $440 dollars because they say its a higher season to April 30th. Well we have been here 3 times and if they can not work a deal with us I will request a refund and go elsewhere. $142 per night is a little steep considering in Nov it was $80.00. Oh almost forgot here in New Jersey we have a beach Gunnison at Sandy Hook, here we can go thonged, topless or nude, its a nice place just do not like the water. I have a thong I wear to the restrooms and refreshment stands. We ended up in Curacao back in Nov it is good for topless and thongs, sunset waters has a nude beach area there on the island.
