Thanks so much a brighter part of my day, I am here at work watching the snow wash away my Birthday plans for tonights dinner and weekend away. I knew I should have planned to leave to Tulum yesterday as opposed to going to a bed and breakfast in New York State!

Aw, Petecat, that's sad, but I hope you got up there anyway. Snow turned to rain and the highways were OK this afternoon (I had to drive from Westchester Cty back down here to coastal NJ). I guess it depends on whether or not you have a good vehicle and how far up into NYState you were going to go! I bet it'll be beautiful up there this weekend, though, so I really hope you got there.

Hey Beachreader, well I actually am the Facilities manager for a school district here in Jersey, so when it snows people stay home, I go to work, we cleaned everythhing up pretty good yesterday and I was able to go for dinner with my children and grandson (6 monthsold), now we are in at work this morning sprucing up and moving some snow banks. I am looking to get out of here around 10AM head upstate around 1230 and just relax up there until sunday night. Have a B&B reservation hit a few wineries have dinner than relax in a hot tub with some wine with the misses, sounds good right, I agree BUT I would still rather be in Tulum!
