Heading to Tulum in 3 days - I've been using this site as a resource (great stuff! thanks for all the insight) and thought I'd at least register. Perhaps I can add something post-trip, or ask some specific questions before I head down...

The -13 degree wind chill today is making it very hard not to look past these next days of work, to the warm beach of tulum.

Will be staying at La Conchita.

Yep, first time.

Setting up a tour in the Sian Ka'an, otherwise will do a whole lot of relaxing, eating and drinking on the beach and in town.

Cabanas La Conchita: Very nice. Which one are you staying in? We stayed in 1 the last time, no fan, but if you have a breeze, good!
Breakfasts are great, the staff is friendly and the grounds: great. Nice cabanas...quiet.
Small beach..Shared by the properties on each side. Azulik is to the left as you are looking at the ocean..pricey.walk around the rock face and you will see a great stretch of beach. and you can walk forever. .some mild nudity around the bend, but the walk is great! Very secure property...LOVED it. We also stayed in 7 (i think) It's next to the kitchen...

we stayed in 5... I loved it as well.

I wrote a trip report on the trip report board that covers some more about Conchita.

There was a bit of nudity on both sides when we were there... just an added bonus :)
