Mezzanine...details wanted

I am thinking about staying a few days at this hotel in Tulum in mid-late May. I love the photos (we normally stay at Deseo which we love, but want to try a few nights in Tulum this time), but am a little concerned about no a/c. I realize that this is fairly common in Tulum, but the idea of not being able to fall asleep because I'm uncomfortably hot (due to the weather!) kind of makes me nervous. (we also had a bad experience with heat at a high end "eco-resort" on the Pacific coast a few years ago and positviely BAKED EVERY SINGLE NIGHT!:mad: )

Could anyone elaborate on your experiences here?

Also, how is the beach in front of the hotel?

Lastly, any suggestion for a transfer (aside from collectivos or the Playa bus) from Cancun airport to the hotel in Tulum?

I have stayed right next door with no a/c in feb 2005. No problem with heat...right off the ocean gives you great breezes.
For a transfer right to the mezz ,either get a taxi or your own van at cancunvalet.com
I will probably book this and then hope to bump into someone to split the costs...Its $100 one way.
