Oh, sorry, I get it now. I saw the other one first.

My favorite breakfast? Hmm. Well, the one Freddy at Om made me was amazing, but not exactly "normal". The desayuno azteca with chilaquiles and all that beef was pretty cool at Don Cafeto's...

Hey pepper I was going to second the French Toast at La Conchita. W/the fruit
and fresh yogurt. They really have the best breakfasts. You're right though you have to stay there to get breakfast so it looks like I won't be having the french toast! :( We have a kitchen at Samasati so maybe we'll try our best to recreate it!! I can't quite remember what was so great about it. Did it have
honey instead of syrup?

I think it was the way they crusted the cinnamon or canela onto the bread. We tried analyzing it, but never tried to re-create it. Seems like the bread had gotten a good egg soaking and then pressed into canela and then pan-fried. That's my best guess anyway.

I think the syrup was Log Cabin or Aunt Jemina bought at Sam's. I remember seeing the pancake mix was Krusteaz.
