I stayed at Om for a couple of nights two weeks ago and will definitely post some pics and info soon (I know, I keep promising!).

Even though the rooms aren't right on the beach (the restaurant takes the prime spot on the very narrow property), most of the rooms are very large and very nice, with two beds and a door on the bathroom.

Chef Freddy is a fantastic chef; I ended up having two dinners there, the second time I just asked him to cook something for me. He also did me a special breakfast one day, really the coolest egg dish I've ever had.

Food is pricey for sure, but definitely worth it for a special night!

It's right next to Casa Violeta, which is right next to Amansala. So pretty far south, but not all the way down.

I think they said prices were going to be $150, but you can contact them at www.omplaya.com (http://www.omplaya.com) and ask for whenever you're going. They gave me the small room for $80 and offered me a large room for $100, but they'd just opened and it was off season.
