We have stayed at Cabanas Tulum. It isnt the rustic stick huts like most places in the Tulum beach area. It was great for us. The rooms are like hotel style with windows and private baths. Excellent beach. Not alot of privacy on the porch areas though. When we were there in June there was only like 4 rooms rented so it was very private. These are all pic's of Cabanas Tulum or the beach in front.

Here some more pic's of C.T.
This is what it looks like from the beach. What you are seeing is two rooms with the balcony areas.

A local who adopted us for the night. It was cool he even slept in front of our cabana and laid with us on the beach at night.

We just showed up and asked to see a room, but it was June(low season). I'm not sure if intulum.com has them listed or not , but you could try them. Good luck. If you would like to know more specifics just ask.:D

never stayed there, but if you're looking for volleyball etc...tulum is way too laid back for that,,,,but great food and restaurants are both in walking distance, but really a rental car is best to get around
going down on tuesday
adios?ciao

I will definitely let you know how things/places fared!
I hate to say it, but tulum has escaped both Emily and Wilma and came
away relatively damage free. We were chased to Merida for Emily and i left the tuesday before Wilma.
I think it is just a Tulum thing....hope the good luck continues
