Has anyone ever taken a cooler full of beer to the El Paraiso beach club? Would that be frowned upon? They only have Sol in a can. :eek:

We've done it a few times. Once they came to ask us if we wanted to order anything, we just politely said "no gracias". Since we were using their parking lot and walking through their facilities to REACH the beach, perhaps we should have bought at least something. The next few times we went we bought a token beer and then drank from our cooler the rest of the time. If you bring a cooler you can't use their beach chairs, etc. though.

You can also drive a few feet further down the road and make a right down the next driveway to get to the beach without going through the Paraiso proptery. You get to the same beach, but without going through them.

El Paraiso...such a gorgeous spot!

I'm hoping that it has survived Emily and Wilma.....both ladies have visited since I was there in April of this year.

Is the beach and club still good as ever?

Guess I just answered my own question by reading Tulum Wilma info below.....Jez says El Paraiso Beach is wider than ever! Awesome!
