When is it getting dark?

Hey guys, for those of you just back, about what time at night is it dark? Like DARK dark, not just dusk?

Just out of a sense of competition, I'm going to guess they say 6:00, but I could be way wrong. Maybe not full dark 'til 6:30?

Anyone else for a guess before the folks with actual recent experience check in?

That was about my guess too, BR. I was hoping for a tad bit later tho'!

You're going after the time change, right? Not sure it's going to help much.

In my view, it's not such a big negative. It's odd, but since I wake up unusually early down there (here I can sleep 'til 9 if I'm allowed but am up with the sun down there), I'm happy having dinner at 6:30-7:00, drinks and whatnot, then back to the room to read for a while and am happily asleep before 10:00.

If I tried to get to sleep at 10:00 here, I'd be up at midnight and not able to get back down again for hours. Especially since I nap a bit down there during the day.

God, I can't wait for my trip! I have to be up early tomorrow to drive 3 hours for an hour and a half appointment, then another 3 hours back up here. Soon. It will be over soon, and I'll be hearing the waves on the beach and wind in the palm fronds.

630ish. we often left the place at around that time for dinner and it was still light.

No it isn't a big deal to me at all either, except when day trips and driving might be involved. I like to know when it might be pitch black to the point that it becomes hard to see people walking on the side of the road, things like that!

Phyllis..the webcam last night was dark by 6:45..and it was a nice day yesterday..if it's overcast, it's a bit earlier I imagine.
