My friend was thinking maybe we'd take a tour out in AZ, but I'd rather plan my own tour. I've been to Sedona before, but I bet there's a lot up there I haven't seen.

Does anyone know Arizona well? I'm thinking maybe visiting some old/ancient Indian caves or villages, then just hanging out in town and looking at all the art shops.

But how to find maps to the Indian sites?

Hey BR! I was thinking about heading out there sometime too - got a ton of info from Lynette, I think. I don't know how often she checks in but I think she's been there more than once and can give some good suggestions.

Maybe drop her a PM!

BR,

We were in North Arizonia last May to visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and are returning to both the North and South rims this coming May to backpack down and back up the canyon. We'll then be exploring additional areas of Arizonia. One resource I found helpful is the main bed and breakfast site for the state. Even though we're not "bed and breakfast-type people" their travelplanner section is very informative. They have a nice section specifically covering visiting Indian ruin sites that might give you some nice planning info. You can find it at:

Good luck!

The Indian site information is exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks, Lee!

Phyllis is right...I've been away from the forum (and Tulum) for way too long. I don't know that I'm a "Sedona" expert, but I've been several times. We'll be returning mid October and I have lots of recent research...things change almost as quickly as they do in Tulum. :( Feel free to PM me, beachreader....hopefully I have some answers for you!
