This looks like fun! I don't know what it is but it looks like a flying lawn chair with a big fan. There were 2 of them flying around Ana y Joses.

From the restaurant at Ojo do Agua in Puerto Morelos. Looks like a great place to spend the night for a quick early AM airport trip.

I'll venture a guess but I'm not sure this is right...just off Solimon Bay in the area that connects the bay to the cenote behind Oscar y Lalos?

Okay...I'm stumped on this one...I want to guess Zacil Kin but their beach has more of a slope to it. Where is this?

You are right for #2. This was the 3rd stop on the Tulum Beach Crawl in April. We were walking from north at El Mirador to the south so I think its Zacil Kin. Great pineapplely pinas and the guy hand shaved the ice!
The first pic was at Yalku lagoon!

OK Lee - I know from an earlier post that this is where I will find "cervesas mas frias" - but whereabouts on the beach is this bar located??

I agree that Puerto Morelos is a great place to overnight if you have an early am flight. We did a walk-up at the Hacienda Morelos on our return in May. The beds were very hard, but the room/bathroom was clean, we had a/c, a pool, excellent restaurant with a bar and beach front for $55/night. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

You can find it just north of El Paraiso (or Nuddy) Beach Club. If you're all the way up by the ruins, you'll find it about three down (El Mirador, then Don Cafeto, then Zacil Kin). You'll see it from the shore. Not fancy food (see menu below) but a great vibe and friendly folks.

The place was empty.....I'm sure that's why we got the great walk-up rate. I'm such a planner, that it was a bit scary for me not knowing where I was going to be for our last night.

I hope it's that way when we go, if we get to go in November..we are planning on more or less winging it..no set firm plans...no reservations, except for the first night.
Hope Anja had a wonderful birthday!

And we both know we will be fine! Gale and I will have a car from Easyway. Worse case scenario,(we hope)... things are booked where and when we want and we grab cheap accomodations in the restaurant district in PDC with a pool! Hey, thats roughing it! hee hee! You know you can find accomodations in Nov. SOMEWHERE between PDC and Tulum! I am looking forward to NO plans cept the flight schedule tweaking and manuvering of the rendevouz, the 1st margarita with ceviche, and the 1st night accomodations.
Oh, and my trusted friends at Easyway handing us the keys of a fabulous flying car! Last time I recd a free upgrade for being a multi time client. From Nissan Tsuru standard to VW Jetta auto! Almost brand new with the smell! (under 2000 miles) It was a dream for a rental!
Where's the food? I ordered ceviche and Guac? Dos margaritas, por favor! I'm just gonna prop my feet up right here and listen to the surf! Theres a fairly stong ocean breeze! Should be good sleeping and tomorrow will be wonderful!
Just finished JB's "A Salty piece of Land. I know I'm behind but...I loved it, can you tell?!?
Anyone ready to set sail????

Easyway gave me the same free Tsuru/Jetta upgrade....maybe they don't have many available Tsurus.....maybe tipping for picking us up at the Ultra Mar helped. ;)
