Just kinda wondering...i have not read all of your posts...

Yes, I have been a couple of times, stayed at Copal. Making plans to go back the first week of May, not sure if we are staying in Tulum or closer to Punta Allen...or we may try to take a few days in Xcalak.

have not been to punta allen...on the wish list...i get to tulum and all my motivation disappears everytime

Know that feeling very well.. Tulum beach syndrome maybe?..always have big plans for things to do, but, what I do best is lay in a beach chair..lol!
